Meeting of the NATO STO AVT-439 Working Group in Bordeaux — 21–22 May 2026

HYFAR-ARA was pleased to support, together with ONERA and CEA, the meeting of the NATO STO AVT-439 Working Group entitled “Predicting Hypersonic Boundary-Layer Transition in Realistic Conditions”, held at Cap Sciences, Bordeaux, on 21–22 May 2026.

This working group addresses a key scientific and technological challenge for hypersonic flight: the prediction of laminar-to-turbulent boundary-layer transition under realistic flight conditions.

The meeting gathered around 50 scientists from Europe, the United States and Japan, providing a valuable forum for exchanges between academic, research and institutional partners involved in hypersonic aerothermodynamics.
